The oil mill at the Terre de Mistral site was created under the inspiration of Serge DAVICO and Denis GUEURY when the Domaine was created in 2008.
Unfortunately, Denis, who managed this activity, encountered health problems in the operation of his mill, which made it possible, in partnership with Serge, to offer high quality oils to the Terre de Mistral store.
He therefore sold the operation of the oil mill to the De Cambiaire family in 2021, which manages the crushing business completely independently.
Serge wanted to continue to be a “creator of olive oil”: to achieve this, he selects olives from local producers (generally the same from one year to the next), then he has them triturated by the mill on our site.
Thanks to his experience acquired since 2008, he makes original blends resulting from this extraction and thus perpetuates the signature olive oil offer of Domaine Terre de Mistral: a green fruit, a ripe fruit and a black fruity one.
Our mill also offers an olive pressing service. All contributors are welcome, from small producers to professional olive growers.
