Wine producer and olive oil creator, bistronomic restaurant, tapas bar, seminar room, wine tourism activities, jazz evenings and other events all year round... There is something for everyone!
Dear visitors, Before discovering our site, it seems important to me to explain to you the origins of Domaine Terre de Mistral.
I come from an old peasant family from Rousset. My grandfather, a farmer in market gardening, breeding and viticulture, was a founding member of the Rousset wine cooperative. When he disappeared (a bit too young), my father kept his farm alive on the sidelines of his work as a civil servant. Then I took over in 1984, still benefiting from very substantial support from my father.
In those years, working in the vineyard and in agriculture in general was not very profitable, so I started my business by growing vegetables, poultry and 15 hectares of vines. As there had been no young farmers in the town for a long time, I was immediately asked to join the cooperative's board of directors to participate in its management.
As the years went by, I became passionate about this management of vine cultivation and the creation of wine. I therefore naturally took on responsibilities within the cooperative winery to serve as president. At the same time, I expanded the vineyard significantly and stopped vegetable production.
Then in 2006, after having visited numerous wine regions in France and around the world with my wife Nadia, I had the frustration of not having all my freedom to get the most out of my work as a winegrower. So we decided to start creating a winery... In 2008, Nadia quit her job in pharmacy to embark on the “Terre de Mistral” adventure with me!
Today, we are happy, and let's say “proud”, to be able to welcome you to our constantly evolving place, fruit of the passion for the land and our region!!

Why Terre de Mistral?
This land is our DNA where our roots are deeply anchored. The Mistral, an emblematic wind of Provence, but also Fréderic Mistral, poet and writer who defended the Provençal language in his works. The choice of the name of our wine estate therefore seemed obvious to us.

Our inventive menu gives pride of place to local and seasonal products, and evolves regularly according to the chef's inspirations!

Since the creation of Domaine Terre de Mistral, we have wanted to welcome visitors. Thus, we open our doors with pleasure to an audience of individuals and groups. Our dynamism and the authenticity of our activities have been rewarded by obtaining the National Wine Tourism Award 2013 and through the final selection of the wine tourism offer of “Terre de Vin” in 2024.

See the eventsEach year, 3 olive oils are created and blended for the Domaine on our site. In addition, our mill offers an olive pressing service where all contributors are welcome, from small producers to professional olive growers.
